Missions

I am happy to report your Mission board has received confirmation of our gift of $2500 to Heifer International. What is even better is our donation has been doubled in size bringing it to $5000 due to the generosity of others affiliated with Heifer.

What the children decided to send included a hope basket of rabbits and chickens, a gift of clean water, a gift of two water buffalo, a mating pair of cattle, two sheep, a community animal health worker kit, garden seeds, an earth gift basket, which includes a hive of bees and tree seedlings and a woman’s self-help group which provides women, education and support necessary to create better lives for themselves and their families. I want to thank everyone within the congregation and our friends of our church for their interest in this project.

We should all be very excited.
